Clever replies when people call you a Goth

Clever replies when people call you a GOTH

Urban dictionary defines a Goth as, “someone who finds beauty in things others consider dark. They love all that is dark and mysterious.”

I have received so many emails from people asking what to say when people call you a Goth, well, this post is for y’all.

If you are a Goth you may have been picked on or singled out at school for being different. People who like to conform probably don’t appreciate your unique and creative style.

Wherever you go there are the mainstream people and then there are people on the fringes who don’t like cookie-cutter homogenous things. It is great to be your own person, to be different and unique. Nobody ever did anything exceptional in the world trying to be like everyone else.

Here are a few things you can say when people give you a hard time for being a Goth

What to say when you are called a spaz

What to say if someone calls you a SPAZ

If someone calls you a spaz they probably see you as someone who overreacts and freaks out about minor things. Maybe you do get all wound up, hyper and “spaz out” as most of us do at some point in time.

Another definition of spaz is a person who is running around acting like a crazy person.

In the US, most people don’t know where the term spaz actually comes from. The word spaz originates comes from spastic cerebral palsy, a condition that causes the body to move in a jerky and stiff manner. In the UK spaz is considered a derogatory term and it is offensive to people with disabilities.

Next time you freak out and are acting jumping around, use one of our clever comebacks when people give you a hard time about it.

Comebacks when people make fun of your acne

What to say when people make fun of your pimples

When you are suffering from an acne flare up, there is nothing worse than some jerk pointing it out. It’s embarrassing enough having to go out and feel self-conscious about your face without people making fun of your spots. When someone draws attention to your skin in public, it can feel devastating for teenagers.

Approximately 85 percent of teens suffer from acne, so you are definitely not alone in your skin challenges. Even though it is horrible when your skin flares up, your pimples should clear up eventually. You won’t have acne problems forever.

For some strange reason, people seem to think that they’re dermatologists and offer skin advice.

If you are upset, want to get your point across, and shut the person up for good when they make derogatory comments about your zits, try a few of these snappy comebacks.

Kendell Jenner was freaked out about high school acne

Kendall Jenner suffered from really bad acne when she was younger and it really affected her self-confidence.

Kendall shared some memories on her web site:

I had such bad acne when I was younger; I remember it SO well!’ she shared. ‘I started having skin issues around the 8th or 9th grade.’

‘I think I just got acne from being a teenager and simply growing up, which happens to SO many people,’ she said. ‘But, where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem.

‘I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.’

Even though she found it very challenging at the time, Jenner didn’t let the acne hold her back and she went on to achieve great things.

Top Ten Comebacks for Controlling People

How to respond to someone who is being CONTROLLING

People who try to control your every move do so because they are insecure. You may be with a controlling person if they constantly criticize everything you do, isolate you from your friends and family, and try to change you while squashing your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I knew a flight attendant whose boyfriend, Dazza, would call her twenty times a day wanting to know her every move. Isabelle had to call him before going out because he wanted to know where she was going. If she didn’t tell him beforehand, he would get very angry. After a couple of years of his controlling behaviour, she received a phone call from another woman, who said that she thought they had the same boyfriend.

Isabelle didn’t think it could be true. She went to the woman’s house, and there was a picture, taken on vacation, of her boyfriend and this woman cuddled up. There were messages from him on her answering machine saying how much he loved her.
