Great roasts when people call you weird

If you are different in any way, you may not fit in the typical social cliques at school. But there is a tribe out there for you, a group of people who share your interests and values. It is just a question of finding your people.

A lot of people who have gone on to change the world have actually thought radically different from the mainstream. Steve Jobs had an unusual interest in calligraphy and simplicity in college, those two personal interests lead to creating Apple, one of the most creative companies in the world.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. – Rob Siltanen

  1. I’ve been called weird millions of times. I like to assure Captain Obvious that he don’t know the half of it. I’m even weirder than I appear, like a weird onion, I’ve got layers of weird that go all the way down.

I also like to respond in song, quoting John Thoroughgood. “Yeah, evabody funny. Now you funny too. One bourbon! one scotch! and one beah!”

  2. I told a girl at school trust me, as you get to know me I get weirder. It was so funny to see the look on her face. She is one of those boring people with no personality.

  3. this is for all of the boring bastards out there. When I told you that is normal I may have exaggerated slightly! News alert: normal is boring.

    1. Hi Faustina,

You could try a few of these:

Is that right? And what exactly have you accomplished in your life time that makes you Einstein?

Unless your name is Google, stop acting like you know everything.

If you want dumb, go look in the mirror.

Oh, I see you are rubbing off on me.

      Good luck,

      Bryn

    2. You could try saying:

      – “You’re dumb just means: I can’t find a good argument to counter yours so I’ll just insult you instead. Who’s dumb now?”
      or…
      – “The village called. They want their idiot back. You’d better get going.”
      or…
      – “I believed in evolution until I met you.”
      maybe…
      – “Your ass must be pretty jealous of all the shit that comes out of your mouth.”

      Kind regards,
      Emelia.

PS) I hope these do you some good xxx

  4. Hello, my name is Delize. People I know have been calling me Disease for years now. Can you give me some advice in what to say?

    1. ‘Yes, I have a rare disease called (Perfection/ Awesome/Clever/Whatever you want.) It ain’t contagious, and you obviously don’t have it.’ How about something along those lines?
      Good luck,
      Alex.

    2. I think you must have some kind of hearing problem. I told you my name was Delize but your brain cell doesn’t seem to recognise the error.

  5. I know I’m weird I’m not the type of weird that they would show in movies and junk I’m the fun type of weird and I’m proud but what made me mad is that I’m that quiet/shy type and this girl called me weird because I was walking past her fast 😐 like wow she’s obviously idiotic and has issues and low self esteem for trying to come for a innocent person who does nothing to anybody and stays out of drama but yea I’m gonna say something I’m tired of being talked to any type of way just because I’m quiet and people think I won’t do nothing about. ??Time to make some changes!!

    1. Hey Tomboy 123,

There would be nothing worse than being completely ordinary. Keep on being original.

  6. When some one calls me ugly, Them: You’re ugly. Me: I’m sorry, are you sure you aren’t looking in a mirror. (Only if they say that they are not looking in one say, Oh, it’s because you broke it… with your face)

  7. I dont know why people are saying to other people are weird…

    1. Here are a few things you can say

Wow, you noticed, huh, Sherlock? Thanks for telling me, I had no idea! What other gems of knowledge do you have for us today?
Man, I bet you were up all night, working on that one.

  8. Like um yes boo boo I am weird but that’s only because you’re normal and no one likes that so hun take a back seat if you wanna see funny

  9. In response to Girl you’re thinking of dating saying “you’re weird”:

*People like this motivate me to be more like myself, I don’t conform to some standards, I don’t try to be different, I just am different, original actions shine in the world*

“Well then by that logic it would be really weird for me to pay for anything if we go on a date, so you’re buying the pineapple pizza.” I hate being called weird, it’s so derogatory, I respect women, but it’s the equivalent of saying “women should not be so ambitious,” or “you throw like a girl.” Yeah well what the heck does that mean?! I lose so much respect for people when they use the word “weird,” it has negative connotations.

    Snoop Dogg once said:
“Be the best you, you can be, because there’s no one else in the world who could be a better you.”

You all can join my club any day cause you should never let what others say or think about you get you down. Wake up every single day and try to be like no one else but yourself. Dream so big that it scares you, and you will change the world around you without noticing. People around you will have mad respect for you for being so original and authentic. I grew up in a city of 10,000 people and I get the feeling that some people view me as hero, well my success is a result of me being myself, and if that’s being ‘weird’ I wouldn’t want to be anyone else. Tell yourself: “I make a difference in the world, I am change, I matter, it’s people like me who matter in the world when otherwise the world would stay the same and not progress.” Be proud my people, be passionate, live and die a happy person cause you forged your own path, be you.

The name you make for yourself in the world will leave a greater difference in the world than what you may be labelled as.
