What to say when you are being pressured to have sex

When someone says, “Have sex with me, ” it is all about their needs instead of yours. They are only thinking about what’s in it for them and their agenda.

Just because someone wants something, you have no obligation to whip off your knickers and succumb to their urges. They are not thinking of the long term consequences of their decisions only the right now.

Sex is great when you’re ready to have it! Sex isn’t so amazing when you are pressured into doing something that you don’t want to do, especially when you are not in a committed relationship.

When I used to work for the airlines you would see airline crew all flirt with each other. A couple of days into a ten-day trip, you would see an icy awkward silence between the two people who were once so flirty. What happened? They hooked up and then things went sideways, and they were stuck flying the roster together for another month.

When someone is pressuring you to do something you don’t feel comfortable doing, put your needs first. Here are a few things you can say to let the person know that you are not going to have sex with them in a jokey way,
